Impulse

Asteroids, but the rocks obey physics — they conserve momentum and bounce off each other.

A twist on the arcade classic. Here the drifting rocks are not just targets: they collide elastically, trading velocity and conserving momentum like billiard balls, so the field is always rearranging itself. Raise your shield and you can shoulder them aside instead of dying to them.

Thrust is real too — nothing stops you but a touch of friction, so fly with care. Spend an extra on a shield, a turbo burn, or a hellfire spread when things get crowded. You earn more by clearing waves; every 10,000 points buys a fresh ship.

Click the board to play. Steer with the arrow keys or WASD-style arrows: rotate, thrusts, Space fires. Spend an extra with shield, T turbo, H hellfire. P pauses, Enter starts a new game. Hit Fullscreen for a bigger board (Esc leaves it). The asteroids bounce off one another and off a raised shield, and attract each other by gravity, conserving momentum throughout. When you progress further, you will also encounter scary black holes.
